Is there really a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan is permanent — not a trial. You get access to all 40+ apps, 1 GB storage, and 50 AI credits per month. No credit card required, no expiration date.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Absolutely. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from Settings → Billing. When upgrading mid-cycle, you're prorated for the remaining days. When downgrading, the new rate applies at your next billing date.

How does per-user pricing work?

You pay per seat (user) on your team. The account owner counts as one seat. When you invite a new team member, your subscription automatically adjusts. Remove a member and your next invoice reflects the reduced count.

Do all plans include all apps?

Yes. Every plan — including Free — includes access to all 40+ Deelo apps. There are no per-app charges or feature gates. The only differences between plans are seat count, storage, AI credits, branding, and support level.

What happens if I exceed my AI credits?

You can continue using AI features — overage credits are billed at your plan's overage rate. You can also purchase AI credit add-on packs. The Free plan blocks AI usage when credits are exhausted (no overage billing).

Is there a discount for annual billing?

Yes. Save 20% by switching to annual billing. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time from your billing settings.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Stripe. Enterprise customers can also pay by invoice.

Are there payment-processing fees?

Yes — for apps that collect payments from your customers via Stripe (POS, eCommerce, Invoicing, Events, Bookings, and similar), a standard card-processing fee applies per transaction. On the Free plan it's 3.3% + $0.30 (Stripe's standard 2.9% + $0.30, plus a 0.4% Deelo platform fee). Every paid plan removes the Deelo platform fee, so Starter, Business, and Enterprise process at 2.9% + $0.30 — Stripe's standard rate with no Deelo markup. This is separate from your subscription: there are still no per-app access charges on any plan.

What about instant payouts?

Standard payouts (typically 2 business days) are always free. For teams that want their money faster, optional instant payouts are priced at a flat 1.9% per payout on every plan. Instant payouts are entirely optional — you'd only pay the fee on the payouts you choose to expedite.

Is there a public API for developers?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every plan, including Free, includes the Deelo public REST API (/api/v1). Create scoped API tokens under Settings → API Tokens (owner or admin only). Rate and usage limits scale with your plan: Free allows 30 requests/minute and 10,000 API calls/month, Starter 120/minute and 100K/month, Business 600/minute and 1M/month, and Enterprise 3,000/minute with a high fair-use ceiling. There are no per-app API charges — it's the same all-apps-included model as the rest of Deelo, and the monthly call limit is a hard cap (no overage billing).

What's your refund policy?

If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of a paid plan, contact us for a full refund. After 14 days, you can cancel anytime and continue using the service until the end of your billing period.

Do you offer discounts for nonprofits or education?

Yes. We offer 50% off for verified nonprofits and educational institutions. Contact our sales team with proof of status to get your discount applied.

What does 'Deelo branding' mean on the Free plan?

Accepted Answer

On the Free plan, customer-facing pages (invoices, booking pages, portals) include a small "Powered by Deelo" badge. Upgrading to any paid plan removes this branding entirely.
