When enabled by an admin, each period's depreciation posts to the Accounting general ledger as a balanced journal entry (debit depreciation expense, credit accumulated depreciation). Post one period, or post every period that's due through today in a single click — re-running is always safe and period-lock aware.
Disposals with Gain / Loss
Scrap or sell an asset and post the disposal to the ledger -- removing the asset at cost, clearing its accumulated depreciation, and booking the gain or loss against the proceeds.
Movement & Custody Tracking
Assign an asset to a location and a custodian, then move or re-assign it as it changes hands -- with a full movement history on each asset. Structured locations, cost center, and department round out a living register.
Revaluation & Impairment
Record a new fair value for an asset. A higher value posts a balanced revaluation to your equity reserve; a lower value books an impairment loss. The carrying value and depreciation schedule update automatically, with a full adjustment history.
